Located just outside the charming market town of Kingsbridge, our client is a global specialist manufacturer renowned for its world-class status in the industry.
We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in manufacturing who can excel in communication, prioritise tasks efficiently, and meet business deadlines while thriving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing processes, focusing on key aspects to ensure successful project delivery:
Manage Project Activities:
- Ensure all tasks are completed on time and within budget supporting the implementation of project management methodologies based on requirements.
Collaboration:
- Work with various teams to gather project requirements and develop comprehensive project plans.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather input and provide updates on project status.
Utilise Project Management Tools:
- Track project progress and communicate updates using standard project management tools.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Create and maintain project documentation, including charters, schedules, and risk registers.
- Assist in developing budgets and monitor expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality and Risk Management:
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with stakeholder expectations.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that could impact project success.
Team Management:
- Manage project coordinators and support staff as required.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of project deliverables.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in using project management software.
- Understanding of various project management methodologies.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
